My love for non-profit organizations began when I started my career at First National Bank in 1994. It was immediately impressed upon us that making a difference in our community and in the lives of others is the true measure of “success.”

When I learned United Cerebral Palsy of Nebraska was looking for representation from First National Bank to serve on their executive committee, I immediately seized the opportunity. Their mantra, “Life without limits for people with disabilities,” is so representative of their true mission and goal.  It was extremely rewarding to know that funds raised from our events would directly go towards helping individuals with cerebral palsy and other disabilities.

Because of my passion in helping support such important causes, I joined the Guild for Quality Living Inc. around 2002. There is a reason they are a premier post-hospital center for brain and spinal cord injury: they truly focus on their mission, that great rehabilitation services rebuild lives. A quote from one of their clients that has always stuck with me is, “My therapists understood me. They took the time to be my friend.  They were my friends as much as they were my therapists,” which perfectly embodies the goal of the organization.

I am excited to join the team at First National Bank as the Enable Outreach Specialist.

Working with numerous organizations across our footprint will no doubt prove to be a rewarding experience. The Enable Savings Plan allows people the opportunity to save today and plan for tomorrow. It is fulfilling to make a difference in someone’s life and love doing it! I look forward to having the chance to meet with account owners and organizations, and to hear your stories about how Enable has impacted your lives for the better. Diane joined First National Bank in 2017. As the Outreach Specialist, Diane facilitates product training to diverse audiences ranging from personalized presentations to remote or on-line-based forums. Participating in community outreach programs is a key focus and development of relationships with partners and centers of influence. Diane has over 30 years of Banking Experience and Decades of serving in Leadership roles with Local Non-profits such as United Cerebral Palsy and Quality Living, Inc.
